Balance of nature

sorenbarrett

Beauty so vast and so deep that the stars look up to its peak and the seas look down to its depth.
Extending to the other side of time, where no soul has ever touched, it paints over dreams, turned sepia in its shadow
Nature bleeds these colors in drops of rainbows, pools of sunsets and the dark mirror of night where the blind too can see its majesty
These discarded, cast off drippings of the gods, woven into the coat of nature warm the naked, enrich the poor and shelter the homeless as a gift

Sometimes as we walk about, we don't see what's in front of us.
But imagine around the whole world where nature is working, usually trying to fix man's disasters, and maybe sometimes showing us who's really in charge.
But all in all, the earth is a great place to be for the short time we get.

Soren, this reads like creation’s own reflection—poetic, reverent, and vast. “The blind too can see its majesty”...that line alone could hang in a cathedral. Masterful work, my friend. We both be on a nature kick this morning! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

              • Friendship

This deserves a favorite due to its profound resonance with me, as it articulately conveys a multitude of emotions related to nature. Nature is an integral part of our environment, including recycling and other aspects, and human waste can be converted into remarkable things. Well written, your poem reflects on the vastness and depth of nature, illustrating its beauty through vivid imagery. It highlights how nature's gifts—such as rainbows, sunsets, and the night sky—serve to nurture and shelter those in need. The poem also suggests a timeless quality of nature, extending beyond human experience. The poet aims to evoke a sense of gratitude and awareness of nature's gifts, encouraging readers to appreciate and respect the environment and its resources.

I don't say much sometimes, just briefly good write, etc. Hope that's OK, as I'm not very good at analysing poems. Also I've said that only Fido here can understand poems that may be cryptic!
