Another

Alis Dream world

A simpleton will speak for today:

"Will it ever change?" they say.

Today, I will try to seek—

Maybe the truth, or maybe it's a tick.

Months were turning to days,

And weeks were turning to minutes.

Even after a year, it still wouldn't finish.

It confuses me how heavy change is.

I still remember the sun in the sky,

But right as I blink,

All I see are a million eyes-

Staring back at me, shining.

The eyes surrounded me.

Whenever I run, it follows me.

I lost my sense of masculinity;

It drives where my heart should be.

I feel like someone is behind me,

But there is no one to see.

Out of sight, out of mind—

But I don't want to die.

I feel so scared all the time.

Is there a reason for beauty and rye?

Lies! It's all a beautiful set of lies.

I was born and raised,

Bred and led by some words,

And it became my entire life.

I don't want to end up blind;

Wise men wonder while starved die.

It's all a fragment of emotions that I can't seem to seek,

Cause I am just so goddamn tainted.

I am a person to be with.

I am way too stupid.

I hope to come to terms with it someday,

A drink or maybe some other way.

I can't describe images in one;

Broken pastures in one song.

Wasted potent and healthy cure,

Drug the bruise, and some endure.

I want to live and decide—

Live another life.

    So many expressions of wanting to live and experience life to the fullest. Nicely written
