Walking To Eternity.

Goldfinch60

We were walking from our coffee shop

After having coffee and a chat with friends,

And the thought came to me.

Here we were two people in in love

Walking quite easily,

And there around us were others,

Others younger than us

Needing walking sticks and wheelchairs,

And us both nearing eighty years old

Walking easily in our life.

And that thought came,

Aren’t we so lucky,

So lucky in our life.

We can walk unaided,

We have a roof over our head,

And have all we need,

And mostly we have our love,

A love that is so strong

And will go on for eternity,

And beyond.

Gratitude a wonderful thing that blesses the one that holds it. Looking for the silver lining in everything one finds it. A most wonderful and positive message. Glad you have the main things in life, health, love, and physical needs met.

Going to the doctors for test results on my bung feet. Looking toward a powered wheelchair, the one that Mr. Bean had looked promising.
