Put it back
Put it back
Close the door
Don't think about it anymore
You can't change it
Or rearrange it
Let it go
And maybe then you'll know
That who you were
Was simply because
And who you are
Is ultimately the result

We cannot fight what is already done. 🌹
Thank you dear Teddy for your kind words. Hope the sun is shining on you!
Acceptance is the greatest of gifts both for oneself and for others. I found long ago that accepting that one does the best one can under the circumstances and with the tools that one has to work with frees one from guilt and blame and that is enough. A most lovely poem Bella and close to my heart a fave
You capture the sentiment exactly in your comment, thank you dear friend, it means a great deal to me.
You are most welcome my dear friend
My friend, this speaks to me deeply. Letting go isn’t forgetting—it’s finally understanding who we’ve become because of what was. You express that so clearly. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
We pass through so many different selves on our journey through life, that change is inevitable, but necessary. Thank you so much for your touching words.
Superb
Thank you so much my friend!
Greetings, Bella! You referred me back to 'put it away', which I initially missed. Normally I am not fond of poets here who dispense personal advice....... However either of those poems could be mantras which I'd find quite useful at times.
Many thanks for presenting them.
Thank you Dave, I appreciate your comment and always enjoy sharing opinions, it keeps us on our toes and thinking. Best regards!
Wow! Is your group of on your toes thinkers very large? Would it be difficult to apply for membership?
You've always been there my thoughtful friend.
Peace - You have a way of doing it, Bella😊
Good write B. It made me think of 'If it ain't broke, don't fix it!' But I tried to fix it - and it broke! Doh! Another mad adventure. lol.
You're spot on Orchi! What would we be without our mad adventures? Take care my friend!
You put it back yet, whatever it was?! lol.
Darndest thing, I took so long that I forgot what I wanted it for, go figure. lol
Lol.
You are yourself Bella as I am myself and nothing can change that.
Andy
I love your comment, and totaly agree. Thank you!
It is in letting go that you can sometimes find the ultimate release from whatever was binding or holding you back.
Your words touch me deeply, thank you my friend.
you are most welcome
I'm going to be an astronaut and that's that.
My mum says I've got her backing.
When I go into space, she's renting my room out.
Wise mom! She's proud no matter where you landed. Thank you for reading, love your take.
Now aint that just the bloomin whole truth of the matter eh' .. Sometimes, in fact often, its best to say it as is n leave it at that .. innit .. Neville 🌻👍

Good day Bella .. I'm presently in the throes of pneumonia but need sort ing out before Friday when I am meant to hit Miami and hop on board a ship bound for South America .. Stay well N 😎🌻👍
I wish you a speedy recovery from the pneumonia, and safe travels to your destination which it sounds wonderful.
Terrific poem.
Thank you for reading, and appreciate your comment!
Bella, not sure how I missed this...but here I am! This whole piece moves like a gentle unburdening…the door closing, the past softening, the self emerging. It’s tender, grounded, and deeply real. Loved it. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
