His sand’s of time.
He’s way too young,
To be staring at his last setting sun.
When all is said and done,
Did he have enough fun?
It’s way too early to be saying goodbye.
The end of the line,
For this simple life.
It’s cold outside and he still wears his shorts.
I guess he doesn’t care for the warnings anymore.
In this mixed up world,
We live and die by the sword.
Will he kneel and be knighted?
Or will he fall from us all?
It truly is a shame,
For he was never to blame.
I see him standing all alone,
And I simply turn away...
This is not the time to be disturbing.
This is a time for simply observing.
I don’t need to be self-serving.
I will speak with him another time.
I hope it is soon.
It is too soon for him to be leaving...
