Hope fills the mind
Like Quick-Silver
Seeking its kind
Beware–Demons lie
Sent to deliver
Soul’s in a pie

Good write J.
Thanks, Orchi.
As a child I used to play with large balls of mercury and it does seem that they seek their own kind joining with bits and pieces to make a larger form. As of souls in a pie I have never had any that I am aware of. Soulful pie is about out of style with all the mom and pop restaurants gone out of business to give way to franchises. A good read Jerry
Thanks, Soren. Soulful pie is hard to find for sure.
Jerry, short but sharp, alchemy and warning in six lines. The mix of hope and hazard gives it real weight. Loved this dark spark, my friend. πΉπ€ππ―οΈπ¦ββ¬
Thanks, Tristan. Exploring hope and hazard is a lot of fun. The edge of comedy and tragedy.
Probably fake silver is like the sparkle of nickel plating, which isnβt as durable as the real thing ππ»ποΈ

I thought this might be highly serious until the corners of my mouth involuntarily reached for the sky .. So there you have it .. at least two truths so far Neville πππ
Thanks, Neville. I love dark humor.
Inspiring dear Jerry πΉ
Thanks, Teddy. Love the Rose.
Hope springs eternal.
Well it does if you read the small print and don't get caught out.
Thanks, Paul. Yes, it does.
Yes the demons do keep lying and deceiving but the hope will keep filling up all the crevices of the mind. Good write
Thanks, NafisaNB.
