Another day has come
But this one is special,
A Remembrance Service will happen,
A time to be grateful
For all those who died,
Died in the war so we could live,
Live our lives in freedom.
Life has been good because of those,
Those who gave their lives,
But will peace survive,
Survive in the way,
The way the world is going.
Why cannot we all see peace,
Peace and love works,
But those in power want more,
Want more for themselves.
So I beg the world
Let peace and love reign,
Reign in our wonderful world.

I echo your sentiment Andy unfortunately there are those that proper by war some politically, some financially, some can not let go of hatred, some can't forget. A sad world that is due for a change.
