I need quiet,
I need rest,
I need sleep—
a sleep so deep
even my thoughts
can’t find me,
where the world forgets
to call my name,
and nothing hurts,
not even me.

Such sleep comes and goes too quickly. I have felt this way on many occasions and feel it in this poem

Death is the only alternative it comes to all
