Safely Surrounded

Tune: Little Cornard

('Hills of the north rejoice')

Psalm 125

***********

They that trust in the Lord

Shall be, so says His word

As mount Zion, that can

Not be removed by man

But abides for ever, firm stands

Its strength displayed unto all lands

As the mountains are round

Jerusalem, so found

Around His people here

The Lord does sure appear

He is around His people e'er

With salvation and loving care

The wicked's works shall not

Rest on the godly's lot

Lest righteous tempted be

To sin, iniquity

Do good, O Lord, to those that be

Good, whose upright hearts each you see

Such as do turn aside

To wrong shall not reside

In the city of light

They shall be led to night

But peace shall be on Israel

Of the Lord's presence they shall tell

Good write Orchi another great hymn. I guess that is why I like darkness no much, too much light blinds me and keeps me awake.
