What is life?

thinkerbell

Life's a mindless reverie

A timeless memory

of days gone by

An endless story

of grief and glory

An inexhaustible inventory

of mockery and flattery

A pompous parody

A metaphysical melody

Life's a piece of poetry

Scribbled in asymmetry

I liked this montage of terms for life that rhyme nicely fitting together like an interlocking puzzle. Nicely said with a rapid flow. Well done

The beautiful rhyming pattern and sentiment of this poem is exquisite, and the last two lines priceless. Thank you for sharing such a gem!
