Tune: Binchester
('Happy are they, they that love God')
Psalm 105 v.1-4
********
O give thanks unto the Lord, call
Upon His name, come all
Make known His deeds midst the people
Trust Him, you shall not fall
Sing unto Him, psalms, melody
Talk of His wonders free
They be all wondrous, glory you
In His holy name true
Let the heart of them rejoice who
Seek the Lord, so here do
Seek the Lord and His strength, Him seek
Revealed to humble, meek
Come, seek His face fore evermore
Though it be certain, sure
Man cannot humanly His face
See, but view by faith, [and] grace

Another great hymn Orchi this one in timely fashion speaks of Thanks giving at that time of the year in the north western hemisphere where pilgrims, harvest and thanks for indigenous sharing is celebrated. I think that in England it would be in July marking the day they got rid of those pesky colonials
Thank you SB. No turkey for us on the 4th Thursday in November in the UK! Boohoo! lol.
I thought that most of the British felt that all the turkeys went to the colonies. You are most welcome Orchi
There was a sailor named P,
He ate spinach till he was green.
Cause he sought, found a place to pee
Olive says he's gross and mean. #TrueStory
Great write, Orchi! Love your Hymn-Poems, my friend. Ah-gah-gah-gah-glug-glug! Damn it...I told him to watch that when I was being serious!
You started him off glugging again?! lol. Ask Olive Oyl about him. On second thoughts, tell her not to answer that! lol.
LOL! Yeah, she just turned red as a...no Popeye...that's green as spinach, not "a spinach"...she's red as beet, and nearly about to....
glug glug
🙄😮💨🤣
Very true.
Thank you JM.
A peaceful quality and a sanctuary to the soul here. Thanks O 🕊️🙏
Thank you A.
Knock, knock, knockin' on Heaven's door, here!
Thank you A. Hope you find, as it's said 'Knock and the door shall be opened unto you'. But what happened to me, not in a religious or spiritual context: 'You'll be OK, don't worry - when one door opens, another one slams in your face!' Or so I say, being all negative there. Heehee.
Good one Orchi.
Thank you Gold.
