All my life I have been the same,
Been true to that one person,
True to that one person in my life.
There have been three of them,
My first wife with whom we had our children,
One daughter and one son
Who I love dearly.
Although we divorced we still speak
And still get on with true friendship.
I was married to my second wife,
Married for thirty eight years
Until that dementia struck
And took her from me
To recover in heaven
Where she waits for me.
And lastly there is Mary
The lady in my life
Where our love is so strong.
So I have always believed,
Believed in loving,
Loving and being faithful,
Faithful to one person.
And I have been totally faithful,
Faithful to those three ladies,
Those three ladies in my life,
In my life full of honour and love.
