December's Eve

dyslexic.gun

Not at all allergic to the sea

Just the things that live in it

Not at all carried by the breeze

But the chills will bring a sneeze

It'd be a shame to have no home for dwelling

But the dust of this one brings my lungs swelling

December's Eve being rather chilly

I can't help but feel so silly

I cannot breathe and enjoy the silence

But I'll hold my breathe in reticence

For I'd rather die quietly today

Then continue to lie so loudly

  • Comment from author about the poem: I'm allergic to dogs, now living with one. My asthma can barely handle it, and then the weather playing flip flop AAARGGHGHHHHHHH. Should probably get checked out for pneumonia if this continues
