My Duality

Break open my ribcage, let the world inhale my light.

I no longer have the strength to stand once more;

To stand once more to fight.

If I cannot hold my love,

Then let it go and fly.

If the darkness will not rest for me,

I guess I will just have to go and die.

Sometimes things make me smile,

Like falling off a swing.

I hope you don’t get hurt too badly, I said,

I had to say something.

I cannot find the will or words,

Yet I still want to sing.

I’ll put on a Nirvana tape and Kurt will cure my sting.

I have a hole inside that is growing every day.

It eats away at me and I can’t simple wish it away.

Love my cancer cell, it’s hiding future ways.

Death has my phone number, address and my full name.

I pray for a bitter end and immortality.

I think I’ve always complained and accepted my duality.

I live a hippy mind, my rocker hair never flows free.

I’m an angry pacifist, love gun’s negative peace.

If nice is what this is,

Then I’ll have to throw a punch.

I want to lose my mind,

Without taking all your drugs.

I’m growing sickle cells from my hatred of the sun

Winter is coming soon,

Let the White Walkers become reality.

I hope you wear a target,

So I can clearly see.

It’s not that I hate you,

Because you don’t mean that much to me.

It would just be a positive,

To kill your negativity.

My battery is flat.

My heart has stopped its job.

I’ll never believe in you.

I am, there is no God.

All elementals do,

Is give the world its crop.

I hope you all fall down, goodbye,
