Happy Lisa.

Goldfinch60

Into the surgery I went,

The nurse called me

And into the room I went.

Out came the needle

And blood was taken.

We started chatting,

She was so happy.

So I asked her,

“Do you enjoy your work?”

Her face blossomed,

Blossomed into a smile.

“I love it!” She said.

She spoke of her love,

Her love for her work

And it showed me,

Showed me how happy she was,

So full of joy and wonder

So as I left

I had to say these words,

“Goodbye Happy Lisa.”

Not Moaning/ Mona Lisa as some call the painting! A fine write Gold. Did the time go quickly because she (and you too?) were enjoying herself?

Thank you Orchi, yes the time just flew by.

It is always a pleasure when one interacts with one that is happy and cheerful, unless of course it is the executioner. A good poem Andy thanks for spreading the joy.

I absolutely love this Andy, I'll tell you a story, I too love my work, but I have a colleague who hates working and she always tries her best to bring me down to her in passionate lazy level, I never do, so she hates me. It's hard sometimes, because she tells me to go back to the UK and gets others to bully me too, but you know what? I won't change for anyone I adore the Lisa's of this world, big hugs and thanks for listening 🤣

People can be like that Teddy, I did my 47 years and 1 month of work and found people like that but they never changed the way I felt, I had a great life at work and was never out of work, great times. Enjoy your work and your life Teddy, it is wonderful.

Nurses who can take bloods with consummate skill are provided with positive feed back from me which will certainly make them happy.

                So true Dave, thank you.
