Upon this gentle dawn, young Frances wakes,
With dreams anew, her journey just begun,
Each breath a song, each heartbeat softly makes
The world anew beneath a rising sun.
Katherine’s arms, a cradle warm and kind,
Owen’s gaze, a lighthouse through the night,
In their embrace, sweet solace you will find,
Their whispers guiding stars with gentle light.
Small hands unfurl like petals in the spring,
Your laughter paints the day with colours bright,
In every step, hope’s quiet fluttering,
A promise gleams in every morning light.
So may your path be blessed, dear Frances, true,
A life of love, and skies forever blue.

A lovely write Gold. Some baby Baptisms / Christenings can be pantomime though, with parents just wanting their baby 'done'.
Thank you Orchi. The baby has not been baptised yet but the parents have been coming to church for a while now so it won't be a pantomime.

Thank you Gold. Some families used to just turn up of a Sunday afternoon for a separate baby baptism service, for baby to be 'done'. Only immediate family turned up, not any, or not many of the congregation.
This truly a most beautiful write Andy so well composed and deftly crafted. Loved it
