One Night

M.E.M.

In the heart of the city, under the neon lights,

our paths crossed, igniting endless nights

of fun and laughter and gentle kisses.

We trade our deepest secrets,

knowing they will die with us.

No names are spoken,

no numbers exchanged.

We just enjoy each other’s company

for as long as this night will allow,

before parting ways

as the sun cuts through the dwindling dark.

A poem about what would be an ideal relationship that may be a little difficult to find. Well written and quite romantic in nature. Lovely
