What is the greatest commandment

Made by God and unto us sent

Jesus said, I it name

You shall love the Lord you

God with all, free and pure

With all your heart, and all your soul

And with all your mind, e'en the whole

Here first commandment sure

Here first commandment sure {1}

It be the greatest one

I tell you, God's own Son

And second commandment it be

Like unto the first one, now see

Love neighbour as yourself

Love neighbour as yourself {2}

For these two commands do

Summarise, it be true

All the law and the prophets words

Follow these, now you have them heard
