Now, Tomorrow and Always.

Aa Harvey

Now, Tomorrow and Always

Love. It’s complicated,

And X-Rated.

Wanting to be mated with a love I befriend.

Could we, should we, maybe can we,

Find ourselves in a perfect zen?

I want the bliss that she could give.

I want this chance at love given a chance to live.

I want a life where she is a part of it.

What is love if not the end?

Waited a lifetime for this to be real.

I feel I should tell you how I truly feel.

Your killer smile like a thief my heart it steals.

My wings are not made of concrete or steel.

If you think of me like I think of you,

I think we could make it and find a way through,

To the other side where I am alive, because of your eyes.

I want to show you all that I am,

So give it a chance. It’s a wonderful plan.

I want to share with you my ideas.

You need to be near to really hear,

My truth spoken quietly which could bring down walls.

I need you beside me to catch me when I begin to fall,

But it’s been a while since I haven’t stood on solid ground.

I want you around to see I’m better now.

Better than I used to be.

Use me please when you need to be happy.

Laugh with me if I make you laugh.

Just a quick glance and you will see my heart dance,

Whenever you are in my sights.

Bless my days and nights with you in my life.

I will shine when I talk about us.

Trust in me I do give a fudge,

If the celebration requires it.

Kiss me quick, before my self-doubt give me a kick

And I run off to hide in a safe-space.

Love me now,

Tomorrow

And always.

The plea of a man intent upon passion and the reluctance of a woman that withholds to experience reassurance. A lovely write
