Well todays the day,
The day six years ago,,
Six years ago today
She passed,
My wonderful wife passed,
Passed from this world.
We celebrated her birthday,
Celebrated her eightieth birthday,
Celebrated it on the eighth of that month,
But twenty two days later she passed.
I was there as her eyes finally closed
And her Spirit left her body.
But her Spirit will never die
And it looks down on me,
Looks down on me with love.
She will be pleased for me
As I lead my new life,
My new life with Mary.
Joyce will never be forgotten though
As we were married for thirty eight years
With never a cross word,
So on this day
This day of your passing
You are there looking down,
Looking down with love
From your heaven in the sky.
