New Years Day Sonnet.

Goldfinch60

Happy New Year Upon this gentle morn,

Hope dances lightly on the silver dew,

The world, in quiet promise, is reborn,

Each moment ripe, each breath a gift made new.

May daytime’s sun bring energy so bright,

Its golden rays awaken dreams and cheer,

Through every hour, may warmth and radiant light

Renew your spirit as the days appear.

When evening falls and softly cloaks the earth,

May moonbeams weave a gentle, healing song,

Restoring strength and joy, igniting mirth,

As peaceful night and silver hours grow long.

So may your year be blessed with calm and grace,

With light and love in every time and place.
