Tune: St Hilda
('O happy band of pilgrims')
Psalm 111 v.7-10
**********
The works of the Lord's hands they
Be true and just alway
All His commandments are sure
And last for evermore
They do stand fast for ever
And they are done never
Deceitfully, unrighteous
But faithful unto us
He has sent redemption to
His people, e'en to you
Has commanded His cov'nant
For ever, it He sent
Holy, reverend His name
Stands for all time the same
The fear of the Lord, holy
Respectful awesome be
It is the beginning sure
Of wisdom, and is pure
Good understanding have they
Who follow in His way

A hymn post biblical one can tell in its style and wording but spiritual none the less. Well done Orchi
Thank you SB.
You are most welcome my friend
Excellent hymn-poem my friend! Jeesh, they really were glugging original with the surnames, no? I can see how Smith came to be a popular one...and how Hymnographer...well...did not! LOL! Stick with poet or Sir Songwriter! Ah-gah--gah-gah-glug-glug.
Honestly, I tried to stop Mr. Glugging P up there...but he just won't. 🤣
Thank you T. That pesky Sir Glugger! lol.
Good one Orchi
Thank you Gold.
