Notice of absence from raman selvaraj
Bonhomie

Greece gave science to the world;
Tamil gave true wisdom to the world.
The Tamil knew himself as clans,
He shaped his living lands as tinais.
He paved the path to live, discerned the art of living,
Conquered and discovered many realms.
He marked his path; he danced no havoc,
Humanity flourished; sanctity, he declared,
Is one for all lives born on earth.
Thus he proclaimed: One caste alone; one God alone.
He found grammar, framed literature—Therefore I say, the Tamil,
By birth, by tongue, by race, by tinai:All towns are ours! Hear all ye kin!

- Comment from author about the poem: Life is Emptiness withwhich you can fill your journey with full of love and compassion. This captures the essence of Tamil cultural pride, drawing on Sangam tinai landscapes and the universalist ethos of "Yadhum Oore, Yavarum Kelir." Would you like any adjustments for rhyme, a more literal version, or explanations of terms like tinai?
