The Weight of the Unspoken Dance

Rev. Lord C.M. Bechard

Notice of absence from Rev. Lord C.M. Bechard
I may not be around since reality loves to buckle and collapse at the most inconvenient times. I will eventually get back with you, once I conquer whatever is before Me making Me absent. But until then, wish Me luck, for I will need all I may muster.

That moment I walked in

You made a tiny gasp

Your eyes widened

Thinking that

I wasn't going to show up.

I saw that.

That way your nostrils flare

As I walk past you

The smell of Me

Lingering in the air

Ever so lightly.

I noticed that.

That way your eyes

Keep meeting Mine

Across the room

When you think

I don't notice you

Watching Me.

I caught that.

That way your lips

Tremble as I approach

Meeting eye to eye

Telling you that I

Missed seeing you around

As you stumble

On your own words

Telling Me the same.

I acknowledged that.

It is the body language described in this poem that tells the whole story. And without saying it emotion is created which it is is left up to the reader, is it excitement, sexual tension, anger, annoyance, attraction? Well written
