Tune: Old Hundredth
('All people that on earth do dwell')
Psalm 70
********
Make haste, O God, deliver me
Make haste to help, my troubles see
Let them be ashamed, confounded
That seek my soul, have me oppressed
Let them be confused, turned away
From me, that shame me here today
Who scorn me, but let all that seek
You rejoice and be glad, the meek
Let such as love your salvation
People who be from each nation
Say continually, God be
Magnified, praises to Him free
But I am poor and needy, make
Haste to me, God, for your name's sake
You my help, my deliverer
Delay not, come to help me sure

- Comment from author about the poem: A hymn-poem in 8.8.8.8. The hymn in the video is sometimes sung at a slow, plodding pace. It's an old hymn from circa1561, but not as old as some hymns.

Sounds like me calling for my bail bondsman. A great hymn Orchi this one seems like a plea for help to a higher power and I could go along with that.
