Life is a balance between
holding on and letting go
of course a scale
of great sensitivity
simply because sometimes
it feels like a tug of war with one’s own soul
knowing when to let go
and knowing when to hold on
is where we find the depths of our own conscience
and knowing one’s conscience
leads to serenity and peace from within.

Know thyself and to thine own self be true strong points in psychology, philosophy, literature, poetry and society. A lost art missing in much of a modern world of plastic and projected computer generated images. A lovely write Teddy

Dear Teddy, I connect deeply with this. Learning when to hold on and when to let go has been one of the hardest inner negotiations I know. Your poem names that struggle with truthfully. Well done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
