A great Poet once told me
“those who have never experienced madness
at least once in their lives, have never lived”
so here goes,
one Sunday evening
whilst I was rummaging through a garbage bin down town
looking for a snack
I was tapped on the shoulder
by a cat
he said… “eh up, save something for me”
I replied…
I hate my life; I want to die
to be honest, I can’t believe I shared that with a cat
the cat, then replied…
well at least when your gone your gone
What about me?
I’ve got eight more fucking lives to live.

Yes that is something to think about, there are things worse than death in this life and although I am in no hurry I am ready any time that it comes knocking. A fun read my friend.
Thank you my dear sorrenbarret 🌹 💜
Always most welcome Teddy
Who would have guessed a cat would be worse off than yourself.
This is why I double-check when rummaging through bins, you just never know what nut job is lurking in the shadows.
Okay, just realised who that nut job is, hate that.
lol 🤣 maybe actually we are the same ones, after all I am the writer lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Knew there was somebody else lurking. lol
Meant to say "sane" by the way LoL
Love the dark humor, Teddy. That exchange with the cat stays with me. The casual cruelty of logic colliding with despair makes the ending bite sharper than expected. Strong use of voice and a wonderful write, my dear friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
My dear Tristan, thank you for coming by to my evolutionary poem, about a cat lol 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🌹 💜
You are most welcome, dearest Teddy!!!
May your lives be filled with happiness and love Teddy. LOL. 🐈⬛🌹🍷
