Here:
Here eight billion seeds were sown,
without the Earth’s permission,
where fleshling saplings; proudly grown
designed their lives; perdition,
treading surface water,
no attention to their roots,
shredding green with mortar,
killing all their fruits,
replacing blood with metal;
tin can; hollow pride,
but believe that it’s fine fettle
love life, is what’s lied,
for such a changeless jungle,
rehash their proud mistake,
as woe; is joy; their rumble,
thus, all their hope is fake!
There:
There is this heartwarm stream,
eight billion drops are flowing,
where unity is not a dream
just happy ripples growing,
that shimmer in the dark,
those nightmare fires gone,
pure example; finest mark;
a worthy line for song,
gentle cascades smile,
no division; cancels way,
for every single mile,
lights up a brighter day,
hence, foreign are the cries
just this family; to the Globe,
as great sea; does wash the lies
with it’s refreshing robe!

- Comment from author about the poem: Hello everyone, I hope that all is well. Again, I apologise for another hiatus, but it is because of another rough patch, and I am still going through the motions of it all, but writing has, and will always play, a good part in the coping and healing of the ordeal. With that said, I give you this double poem entitled: Here and There. Here, is where I, and I think we all are, in terms of what is happening in the world, and There, is where I, and all of us hope to be. The accompanying banner picture I think is apt, as the girl on the dock represents the tiredness of humanity's folly, and the sea represents the cleansing that such a dire situation requires. I hope that you enjoy this double poem, I hope such woeful scenarios can improve, and as always, please do stay safe in the madness everyone.

Here and there are separated by nothing. This poem takes both to the table. Nicely done
Thanks for the read and for your kind words sorenbarrett, they are very much appreciated, and I am glad that you enjoyed my double poetic shot on the table.
I hope that all is well.
You are most welcome and I hope you are well also
Wonderful words Ben, may the world improve in time, it has to happen one day.
Andy
Thanks for the read Andy, and for your lovely words, they are very much appreciated, and yet again the topic seems to be the hope for improvement.
I just hope that humanity stops normalising its self-cannibalisation, and revises its design for life; to be a bit less complicated, divisive and less premature deathly.
I hope that all is well.
