Yet in Life we Are Born to Die
Born to life
Born to death
Ultimate reality
Complete exposure
Rails fall off
Suddenly, unexpectedly
The head rests
The brains storm abates
Feet falter
Finished immediately
Triumphant
Regal
Drenched in mercy
Observation
A bird’s flight
A wind’s breeze
Bee’s buzz
Born to life

It takes observation then thought to realize that life is in all. A lovely poem Katie
Katie, this holds life and death in the same open palm. The spare structure makes each image land harder…especially the storm abating and the simple return to “Born to life.” It feels cyclical, reflective, and gently resolute. Beautifully restrained. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Born to life on this earth Katie but it is but a moment in our lifetime.
