The sky dripped tears
From a breaking heart
In idle flames
To depart
Amidst the clouds
Who slowly moved
From night to day
To sun from moon.
An echo sweet
With moving lips
Its memory now
A lingered kiss
Vibrating long
Its measured time
Singular motion
Thoughts divine.
Yet calloused waves
Upon hardened shore
Speaks with venom
To deplore
And now the giant
Shadow cast
All thats good
It never lasts.

Good write N.
thanks for reading, as always much appreciated
The rhyme in this poem comes like lapping waves on a shore. Its images changing it casts a shadow on its meaning until the last line revealing that all changes. Nicely done
as always much appreciated and many thanks, spot on comments

Fine words Norman but sometimes good does as it has in my life.
