With age Valentines like Christmas becomes over rated to sell more gifts that are not needed, cards that are not wanted and flowers that soon wilt and die. Good write Dave

Maybe he was Valentine Bloggs, as in Joe Bloggs - a name used to mean 'anyone' in the UK.
What's your equivalent of that name in Australia?
