Wonderland becomes Neverland

sorenbarrett

Government a whore, what's more she sells herself to the highest bidder
Where passion is on ration and freedom is no longer in fashion, just consider
The John pays his ballot box price at the door to judicial pimps, thugs of vice
An elected congress of blood sucking lice roll the dice, feeding off voter mice

The mice are blind, they've all lost their mind and the Pied Piper leads
A world of fairytales where blind mice lost their tails, not noting how much each bleeds
Tit for tat they think they have belled the cat, but amongst the mice a fat rat
The clock struck one as up the clock he did run, then came Bo Peep with a bat

The creep entrusted to watch the sheep is under a haystack fast asleep
The queen of hearts gave a trump some tarts and ice in a glass does weep
The mad hatter with presidential chatter claims all of wonderland
A glass slipper shattered, the mice all scattered with a blunder of the Don's hand

Thank you Orchi and that is very wise indeed for I have not found a party worth following or a form of government that works. Your words are appreciated

How about that Cabbage Party I wrote about a while ago? Should we give them a chance in power?Cabbages Rule OK? And lettuces, cucumbers, tomatoes, etc could join too! There's no humans in it. lol.
