Tears

Aa Harvey

Tears.

Another one gone.

She wants it done.

Finally over because I never told her,

How much I need her, in my life.

Gone is the light that she eternally shined.

And I have no excuses.

Only myself to blame for failed romances.

All I ever wanted was a wife of my own.

Here I sit again, sad and alone.

Couldn’t open up and tell her my truth.

The truth will set me free.

I can’t tell it to you.

There is a force field around you,

Whenever I am near.

Can’t hold love because of my fear.

So have no pity for me.

Leave me be.

Live your happy life, for I have ceased,

To keep the love alive.

I can’t even cry.

Too many tears already spilt for one lifetime.
