The Storm Within the Breeze
When
the shadow of a dark cloud
falls upon your shoulders
and there is no escape,
do not wish the rain away;
instead,
imagine a breeze
that might, this very moment,
arrive
and stir a storm—
trembling, roaring,
shattering the night’s stillness.
طوفان در نسیم
وقتی
سایۀ ابر شوم
بر شانههایت نشست
،و گریزی نیست
آرزو مکن
که باران نبارد؛
بلکه
به نسیمی فکر کن
،که شاید، همین لحظه
از راه رسد
و با خود
--طوفانی به پا کند
،تکاندهنده، خروشان
.شکافنده سکوت شب
