What happens when breakers die
A part a watery grave, mist to the sky
We are liquid waves on a cosmic sea
Coming and going, returning back into what we always be
A candle evaporates as it's burning
Heat and smoke into carbon and gas turning
We are dust from a distant star
In a universe where there is no near or far

Good write SB. Yes, dunno why KP complains of the sewage for dinner - she's only a pile of dust in the end anyway! (so do we all humanly).
Dust ain't so bad mites feed off it every day and they don't complain. Thanks for the read Orchi it's most appreciated

You are most kind my friend. Your review and kind words are most valued
This feels like a quiet meditation on where we come from and where we return.
Simple lines carrying a big, cosmic kind of truth.
You and I both on the road there and you got it right Thomas. Thanks so much for the read and comment
Soren, this carries a beautiful sense of calm acceptanceโฆ the movement of breakers rising and falling mirrors life perfectly. The idea that we return to what we always were gives the whole piece a quiet, cosmic peace. Lovely reflection. ๐น๐ค๐๐ฏ๏ธ๐ฆโโฌ

Sweet! Most welcome, my friend!
There are breakers in or life that save us and there are breakerless expanses that free us and where the wind blows takes us to them it seems! A fave, Soren ๐๐ป๐๏ธ
