Grant Us Graces

Tune: St Leonard

('May the mind of Christ my Saviour')

Psalm 36 v.7-10

********

How excellent is your mercy

Your loving-kindness to me

O God! Therefore children of men

Shall trust in you then

They shall trust under the shadow

Of your wings, so safety know

And they shall abundantly be

Satisfied freely

Satisfied with all you provide

In your temple you reside

You shall quench their thirst, they shall drink

And on you bethink

Shall drink of the river of your

Pleasure, lasting evermore

For with you there is the fountain

Of life for us men* (*mankind)

In your light we shall true see slight

Appearing clear to our sight

Continue your mercy unto

Us, [your] righteous ways too
