The Last Song

Teddy.15

Of my darkest days

a miracle has been performed

my breathless bluebird
now reborn

now he breathes
he chirps
he sings

my bluebird
my bluebird
has new wings

fly high,

my darling bluebird

fly high

 only if...

just for a while.

One must ask, is this the blue bird of happiness or some other visitor with a message of hope. A lovely poem that revives the spirit. Well done my friend

Dearest Teddy, this hit me hard…there’s such tenderness in the way you speak to that bluebird. The repetition makes it feel like a quiet prayer…hope mixed with the fear of losing it again. It’s gentle and fragile in the best way. Beautiful piece, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

My dearest Tristan forgive my absence I've been spending all my time in hospitals. Not for me but for those I love. If I can say anything it's that I feel blessed to be able to say goodbye. Hugs my darling friend. I'm older a wiser and I can read my very own collection of raven poems to cheer myself up! 💜 Thank you dear friend. 🌹

Oh no!!! Glad it is not for you...but still. Oh no! That put's today's poem much into perspective, too. I am so sorry this season is upon you, and that I am so delayed in my response. Just catching up. Much love and positive vibes coming your way, my friend. 🌹🙏❤️
