Dreams Never Expire.

Goldfinch60

As age creeps up on us

We think that maybe we must stop,

Stop doing new things,

New things in our lives.

But it is never too late,

Never too late to start.

Maybe a new career at fifty,

That did come to me.

To fall in love again,

As it did to me in my seventies.

So never give up your dreams

As dreams never expire.

The seasons may turn, and hair may grey,

But hope and ambition never stray.

Chase each sunrise with a heart renewed,

For the joy of living is never subdued.
