Why do people say it
After having my haircut
And they next see me?
They say “You’ve had your hair cut?”
As though I didn’t know.
I did know and I tell them
“Yes I know,
Because I was there,
There while it was being cut!”

- Comment from author about the poem: Just a bit of fun but it does happen so often when people tell me I had my haircut after I've had it cut.

People used to tell me that and I always took it to mean that I must have been looking rather shabby before then I took to shaving my head and no one ever mentioned it again. Good one my friend
Thank you soren. Glad that you found out how to stop people saying it.

Most welcome Andy have a great day
Good write Gold. Yes, and was it still you the last time you looked in the mirror, or was it someone else? lol.
I look in the mirror every morning and that same stranger is always looking back at me. LOL

This is praise to the max - therapeutic encouragement and acknowledgement that you have managed to drag yourself out from the depths of degradation you had tumbled into as a result of your dissolute behaviour, Andy.
So kind Dave, thank you.

You are unbelievably welcome, Andy. Do attempt to keep to the straight and narrow from now on, won't you?
At your age this must only make you proud! 🦚 Andy you still have enough hair for them to notice!!!! 🤣 I'm just being cheeky Teddy. 🌹but I'm also suffering from a bit of envy, as mine is thinning now lol 🤣 menapause and all.
Both my brother and I still have thick hair as did my dad and his brother. Thank you Teddy I do sincerely hope that you come through this time full of joy and love.
