Not The Only One

orchidee

I'm not the only one

To have troubles, stresses, etc at times

Yet having personal problems

And some shared with relatives and close loved-ones

Doesn't mean our own troubles are any less real

Or any less in importance

Whether they are short, medium, or long term

But we go on each day

We have support of people in person

And those (as on MPS) who we don't see in person

We can just 'be there' in person or in spirit

Maybe not saying much

Or not having words to say

Words are not always needed

Meanwhile: Fido looks in:

Woof! C'mon now Orchi

Can ya write a poem or three?!

There's Easter season coming up fairly soon again

Though I must say, Fido says

It's not stopped ya being 'orrible to KP

And though I know 99% of everything

Why ya married KP, I'd never have known

Except ya told me of that evening

When she hid the water from your whisky

Got ya tipsy

[Fido doing a bit of poetic rhyming there]

And it made ya say 'I will!' (marry ya, that is).

On an Irish day I'll wish ya top of the morning and lift my glass to you.
"May the road rise to meet you. May the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of His hand."
