Tune: Bunessan
('Morning has broken')
Psalm 92 v.1-5 and v.12-13
***********
It is a good thing to give praise unto
The Lord, and to sing praises anew
Unto your name, O most High, and declare
Your loving kindness, it always there
And to show your faithfulness every day
Bring forth instruments, and to Him play
With solemn sounds, melodic, enhancing
Worship to Him which we do Him bring
For you, Lord, have through your works made us glad
We triumph in you, not fore'er sad
Your thoughts to us they are very deep for
You do tend and keep us your sheep sure
The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree
Grow strong as Lebanon's cedars be
They that be planted in the Lord's house they
Shall prosper in Him and His good way

A poem of promise and pledge. Nicely done Orchi
Thank you SB.
You are most welcome Orchi
Orchi, “We triumph in you, not fore'er sad” really holds the center here…simple, direct, and full of lift. That line carries the piece. And just when it settles in…there’s that soft glug of humanity underneath it all. Nicely done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Wait...what was that? "soft glug of humanity?" Damn it Popeye, what does that mean? Wait...stop! WCAT! 🤣
Thank you T. But, alas, we knew Popeye would ruin things somehow! lol.
I mean...he never fails. Kinda like Jesus...and yes, even Jesus just face-palmed on that joke! 🤷♂️🤣
Popeye, the head of the WCAT Broadcasting Company! Members include Obi and Ol'Tom and several Baters family, friends, and relatives. lol.
And, now...I hear an Ol' Harry has hopped aboard the WCAT train, but which Harry might he be. Harry Potter? Harry, who met Sally? Harry Henderson? Harry Belafonte? Harry Clark? Every Harry? (That could get quite hairy 🤷♂️). Only time will tell!
Good one Orchi.
A prosperous thank you Gold.
Beautifully written!
Thank you GS.
