Soon It Will Be Spring Again

Teddy.15

My darling,

I say goodbye with a heavy heart

the darkness once again has fallen upon me

as I open my eyes I see only loss and despair

sound has drifted from the air

silence now my only friend

visions of you blurred

words no longer have such sense

weeping now in a bucket

I say goodbye with a heavy heart

I say goodbye with a heavy heart

Darling now you’re free from pain

fly high fly free

it’s now our winters day

Darling you’re now free from pain

fly high fly free

this winter of ours, is coming to an end

I'll see you when time once again bends

because, my darling…

Soon, it will be spring again.

Teddy, I’ve sat in that kind of silence before…where words stop making sense and everything just feels distant. In fact, I’m sitting in such a liminal space now. You captured that honestly. And that closing shift toward spring…there’s something quietly hopeful in it that feels earned. Appreciate this, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

Such sad words Teddy but as you said Spring will be with us soon and the memories of your friend will grow like the blooms in the soil.

        Andy
