She turned her head
And forced a smile
Her journey ahead
Filled with many miles
A familiar route
And travelled road
Her lying eyes
A goodbye note.
Its all just
A memory now
Like fallen rain
A broken vow
Like dancing leaves
On morning dew
Very seldom
Do I think of you.
But still the breeze
Sometimes whispers sweet
Your name called
Upon the street
Which breaks a spell
A magic time
When we laughed
When we smiled.
