Cat gazing at the moon

Caring dove

A cat sits on the branch of a tree

a soft strong space living below her little paws

like a loving hand holding her up

when she wants to just stay gazing at the crescent moon

that silver smile

reminding us of daisies and doves

a peaceful boat that’s resting on a bright blue sea of calm

the cat sits with the loving hand that holds her up

so she can gaze as long as she wishes

at the quiet moon that speaks to the cat about daisies , doves

white fluffy clouds

and the boat that sits by itself

resting on still waters

In the bright blue sea

My friend, this carries a peaceful rhythm…cat, moon, sea, all held together by that “loving hand.” The “silver smile” and the still waters give it a soft, steady calm that doesn’t need to push. It just rests…like the scene itself. Beautifully done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

This poem paints a clear picture of peace and the world on pause almost a cartoon image that freezes time. Nicely done
