This poem has dual meaning as a haiku it is as rare as the bird or plant both with wonderful color and either working so well. I have never seen the bird that you picture so grandly in the poem but I have the flowers that in their tropical beauty are as grand. A relation to heliconia which grow wild here in Brazil in flaming red the bird of paradise with its orange, yellow and blue have blooms that last for weeks on the stem. A lovely write my friend

Hi Teddy. A beautiful poem and painting. A duet of art. Together they make a colorful arrival and linger in the mind and eyes. I have to fav this one. - Phil A.
