The Principle of Sameness

Neville

The Principle of Sameness

somewhere behind the camouflage they hide

beneath their disguises

not quite invisible, but not full on, or in your

face either, they are far

more discreet than that these days and tend

to whisper rather than shout ..

yet still they are heard and noticed and feared ..

and while it may not feel like

another groundhog day to you, it is the same

old same old, to yours truly ..

They are always there but unseen. A lovely write that gives me deja vu feels.

Precisely where the power lies. In many ways untouchable. Politicians are such clowns by comparison. The clowns at the circus, in fact. In a nutshell, Neville.

Well then just do the best you can - there's no point in getting upset about it, life's too short...

Fine work, my friend. Silent, sly, and patient—they move in the shadows while the world blinks.
A whisper can cut sharper than a scream when the same old dance repeats.

                        Many thanks Thomas .. Neville

Neville, this hit me hard…there’s a quiet unease running through it that doesn’t let go. It feels watchful…like something just out of sight but never gone. That closing turn lands with a kind of weary knowing. Strong piece. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

The sameness is the thing often overlooked or totally ignored, to our detriment. 🕊️🙏
