I FELT SORRY

Michael Edwards

I FELT SORRY

I felt sorry for the tetrapod vertebrate

when I was informed of the poor creatures fate

for it seems he's lost his powers of seduction

having contracted reptile dysfunction.

Well written. Your poem humorously addresses the concept of "reptile dysfunction," which serves as a metaphor for loss of vitality and desirability in life. It highlights the fragility of life and attraction through a whimsical take on the struggles of a fictional "tetrapod vertebrate.

Feel sorry. Suffering quietly was inbuilt in me till I decided at this late age to break the shackles and silence
