Dawn's Moon Sonnet.

Goldfinch60

I awake and look out to the new day,

In dawns early light the moon shines on me,

It’s beautiful rays bring wonder my way,

Starting this new day with beauty and glee.

Birdsong fills the air with gentle delight,

Fresh dew clings softly to the emerald grass.

Within the calm hush of the quiet night,

Dreams linger, precious moments as they pass.

A golden promise stretches toward the sky,

Hope blooming brightly with each rising sun.

Clouds drift in silence as the hours fly,

And all the world feels anew, just begun.

So let my heart rejoice in morning’s grace,

For every dawn brings joy I can embrace.

Good write Gold. Would that be the Paschal Moon, by which they set to date of Easter somehow?

Thank you Orchi, yes it probably is that moon.

Andy, I've told you all I could possibly tell with respect to your sonnets, but I just ain't a morning person, so do one about the sunset, will you... Oh you've already done one......??

              • Goldfinch60

Thank you Dave. I am definitely a morning person and alwasy have been, I am up at six o'clock every morning, I must admit though I had a lie in this morning, it was five passed six. LOL

Watch it - too much slacking can result in a general decline in standards.....

Thank you Dave, I will be more careful.
