What do these chocolate eggs have to do with Jesus?
I'm asking a real question, not trying to be facetious.
Nothing makes sense but is done with a sinister intent,
Nailed to the cross because he knew what sacrifice meant.
Holidays aren't all Christian, some are anti that in stealth?
An Anglo-Saxon goddess or for the son of God himself?
A celebration, a remembrance, for Easter Or Ēostre?
Trying to find the truth is like smashing open a conker.

Evolution or devolution of fertility rites brought into Christianity to gain a few more converts fills the gap here. Nicely written
Thank you.
Most welcome
I suppose we've adopted the dates of some pagan festivals. And really the Sabbath is Friday dusk to Saturday dusk.
And that ole Saturnalia for Sundays is it? Is a certain one pagan - we knows him, gone home he has?! lol.
Lol yeah, it is a crazy world.
Why, yes - sound good? Starting the day by going to bed? Well, when dusk is over and it's dark!
The eggs an the easter bunny are from when christainity absorbed Pagenism.
Yes, exactly.
Am not Christian, and have always wondered the reason for the chocolate on Easter myself. Glad to see some Christians thinking likewise.
Thank you.
a question that needs pondering about and responding to - even i would like to know the relationship between the two, if there is one or many
Same with Christmas, yes.
because eggs are meant to symbolise new life, and Jesus rising from death was also new life? either way it's become far more focused on chocolate than anything else
True but it also represents a fertility god, not sure if you are aware. Agreed.
