Tune: Lux Eoi
('Alleluia, Alleluia! hearts to heaven...')
Luke 24 v.33-48
**********
Jesus did appear unto them
Gathered at Jerusalem
The eleven disciples, He
Stood in their midst, said, Peace be
They were terrified, affrighted
When their eyes had Him sighted
He said, Why you troubled, afraid?
Why anxious thought your hearts made?
Behold my hands, behold my feet
See it is me who you greet
For a spirit has not flesh, bones
As I have, you see, now known
Then He showed them His hands, His feet
Thus making their joy complete
He asked for food, fish, honeycomb
He did eat there at the home
He said, these are the words I spake
To you before, for to make
Them come to pass, to be fulfilled
Each by my Father's plan willed
He opened their understanding
Did them wisdom, insight bring
That they might understand scriptures
Of Christ's salvation for us
He said, It was necessary
For Christ to suffer, die, see
And to rise from the dead third day
To open the living way
And that repentance, remission
Of sins be preached to each one
In Christ's name, among all nations
Witness to all daughters, sons

A great hymn Orchi well done my friend
Orchi, there’s a bright, steady unfolding here…fear turning to recognition, then to understanding, then to calling. It moves cleanly through the moment without forcing it. And somewhere from leagues below, Popeyeus Glug Maximus Solus is asking if the fish and honeycomb come with a side of ceremonial glug, while Ol' Ben Kenobi mutters “oi be…he’s just risen, lad, let Him finish first…” Popeyeus, ignores and Ol Tómas hands Ben a knitted sock. Why? WCAT! 😂🥬🙏 Well done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
